The Faces Behind Your Story
Get to know the team dedicated to helping leaders like you share your story.
We use our voice to elevate others.
There is a term we care about regarding stewarding your story well: quality control. We have a team of talented writers and editors who care about you, as a human, and your stories and expertise!
- We are a faith-led organization with a core verse in mind, Proverbs 31:8-9, that begins with this: “Open your mouth for the mute…” In other words, we help leaders like YOU come off mute to share your story.
- Led by a project manager, you will work with professional writers, editors, and designers to craft a manuscript you’re proud to share with the world.
- Our offerings are comprehensive—once we help you bring your next book to life, we can help market your voice as a leader and speaker in your space. See our Books, Media, and Speakers pages to learn more!
Our Why
Our values drive everything we do.
01
If you see language out there that talks about “writing a bestseller” or companies that teach you “how to write a bestseller” we urge you to think again.
The book you write with Streamline is meant for something much greater than bestseller status. The book you write with Streamline is meant for Hidden Impact™.
02
Just because “bestseller” isn’t your main focus doesn’t mean we don’t want you to move copies of your book. On the contrary, the more books you release into the world the more opportunity for Hidden Impact™!
Hidden Impact™ is the emails you’ll get, the reviews you’ll receive, and the conversations you’ll have with those who were moved to action by your words—there’s nothing more special than those moments nobody could have seen coming.
03
You may have past experience writing blog posts, articles, or publications online. But writing a book is different in that many are going to read your words in print. In addition, this book is something that will be handed down for generations.
Therefore, we believe in surrounding you with a team to make sure you are not only proud of the book you wrote, but you’re just as proud to share is with others. Besides, the writing and editing process is a lot of fun alongside other humans!
04
Now, does this all mean we’re anti-AI? Nope! In fact, we use AI in our business model to assist with transcriptions, outlines, and meeting notes. But we then trust humans to perfect the AI—not the other way around.
In other words, the main goal for our writers is to connect with and understand your message so deeply that they can communicate it on your behalf, and help you communicate strategically and effectively for your target audience.
Alex is a builder at heart—of businesses, teams, and most importantly, people. As Chief Executive Officer of ShareYourStory.com, he’s spent the last several years helping thought leaders clarify their message and share their story with the world.
Before co-founding Streamline (now ShareYourStory.com) during the pandemic, Alex began his career as a keynote speaker and continues to deliver 20–40 talks each year to audiences across the country. He’s also the founder of RELAY, a company that connects entrepreneurs with high-quality virtual assistants to help them focus on what matters most and delegate the boring tasks in their business.
Outside of work, Alex is building a family with his wife and their three kids. He’s a passionate creator and visionary, writing two newsletters—Focus Friday and Builder’s Lab—and spending weekends outdoors, staying active, or serving in his local church. Whether on stage, at home, or behind the scenes, Alex shows up to help others build with purpose.
Will helps our team stay aligned, encouraged, and equipped to do meaningful work. As Chief Relationship Officer of ShareYourStory.com, he shares resources, celebrates wins, and keeps people connected, making sure that the culture behind the scenes reflects the stories we help bring to life.
After starting his career in content marketing, Will transitioned into ghostwriting and consulting, eventually partnering with Alex Demczak to launch Streamline (now ShareYourStory.com). What began as a small experiment has grown into a full-scale platform serving thought leaders across the country.
Outside of work, Will is a husband to Lauren and dad to three young kids: Branch, Wynnie, and Cal. Most weekends, you’ll find them at the park, watching Kansas City sports, or spending time with their church community. At home and at work, Will is committed to building a life centered on faith, family, and storytelling.

Her sharp eye for detail and deep empathy for authors make her an invaluable part of the team.

He also brought his production and strategy experience to Sweet Fish Media as a lead podcast producer before taking time off to be home with his newborn daughter.
Outside of work, Josh is writing his third novel, co-hosts The IDP Show, the world’s leading fantasy football podcast focused on defensive players, and leads a men’s Bible study in his hometown. He and his wife, Ali, love traveling, watching NFL football, and spending time with family and friends whenever possible.
From idea to impact, Brooke pairs strategic thinking with sincere curiosity. She guides the narrative of ShareYourStory.com, using our brand voice as a tool for empathy and connection.
After earning her journalism degree from Mizzou with an emphasis in strategic communication, Brooke honed her skills in editing and content strategy at an agency before joining our team as a freelancer in August 2024. By early 2025, she stepped into her role as Director of Marketing, where she continues to shape how we show up in the world.
Outside of work, Brooke brings the same curiosity and intentionality to her personal life. You’ll often find her walking with a podcast in her ears, shopping at the local farmer’s market with her husband, or diving into research on women’s health and nutrition.
Annika sees editing as both art and advocacy, helping authors say exactly what they mean, in a voice that feels fully their own. Since joining Streamline (now ShareYourStory.com) in 2022, she’s led and managed our editorial team.
She’s worked in publishing since 2015, shaping manuscripts across genres and guiding authors from first draft to final sign-off. Before ShareYourStory.com, she served as Director of Communications at The Signatry, shaping messages that inspired generosity.
Outside the office, Annika spends her time running local trails, exploring new coffee shops, and writing her first novel.
Abigael brings stories to life visually—blending artistic instinct with strategic design. She joined Streamline (now ShareYoursStory.com) in the summer of 2023 and quickly discovered a passion for book design. Since then, she’s become the creative force behind dozens of our covers, helping authors express their message through thoughtful, compelling visuals.
She earned her BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Central Missouri in 2019 and began her career at Whiskey Design, a Kansas City studio, where she worked across packaging, event, and UI design.
Outside of work, Abigael is endlessly creative. She’s currently writing a three-part fantasy series and loves any hands-on creative outlet: bookbinding, painting, drawing, weaving, and playing music. You’ll also find her hiking with her husband, reading by the pool, or or questing on a Dungeons & Dragons campaign.
Luke brings a unique blend of curiosity, warmth, and creativity to every client he supports. As a Content Strategist, he helps thought leaders turn their ideas into engaging content—whether that’s social posts, newsletters, or video content.
Before joining ShareYourStory.com in March 2025, Luke spent the first part of his career in sales, working across industries like finance, logistics, and professional development. He started writing as a hobby in early 2024 and quickly discovered a passion for using words to build trust, drive impact, and tell meaningful stories.
Outside of work, you’ll find Luke on the golf course, out for a walk with his wife and their dog, Judge, or writing his newsletter. Whether he’s supporting authors or swinging a 7-iron, Luke brings a thoughtful approach to everything he does.
Jamie makes sure every author’s publishing journey runs smoothly from start to finish. As Publishing Manager at ShareYourStory.com, she oversees the project management team and keeps everything on track so authors can focus on their story while we handle the details. She assigns projects, trains the team, and continuously improves our processes to make the experience better for everyone involved.
Before joining ShareYourStory.com as a project manager, Jamie spent 13 years as a teacher, holding roles like team lead, curriculum designer, and yearbook coordinator. Her teaching background gave her the skills to manage complex projects, build clear systems, and support teams in doing their best work.
Off the clock, Jamie’s raising her kids and creating memories with them—whether that’s on their yearly beach trips, exploring historic small towns for weekend getaways, or having picnics in the playhouse. When she gets a quiet moment, you’ll find her reading, toggling between nonfiction, fiction, and a Bible study.
Lily has always been drawn to the places where people and stories intersect — which makes her a natural fit for the Storytellers Community. As Community Manager, she’s focused on building a space where authors and leaders can learn, connect, and expand their influence alongside others on the same journey.
Lily studied Journalism, Mass Communications, and English at Oklahoma Baptist University before spending several years in Washington, D.C., working in events. When the opportunity to step into publishing came along, she didn’t look back. She joined ShareYourStory.com in March 2025 as a writer and developmental editor with Streamline Books before expanding her role to include content strategy with StoryFirst Media.
Back home in Oklahoma City, you’ll find her running a book club, logging another day on her 1,000+ Duolingo streak, or diving into whatever book, album, or film has caught her attention.
Lauren is the first voice you’ll hear at ShareYourStory.com — and she’d tell you there’s nowhere she’d rather be. As Account Executive, she owns the pipeline from first touchpoint to next step, helping storytellers explore what sharing their story could look like and walking with them toward a decision that best suits their goals.
After earning her communications degree, she worked in marketing at startups before spending three years with a high school parachurch ministry. Alongside her work at ShareYourStory.com, she serves in strategic partnerships at IF:Gathering, helping organizations collaborate and go further together than they ever could alone. She brings that same relational instinct — and genuine love for people’s stories — to her work at ShareYourStory.com.
Outside of work, Lauren is happiest outside — running, biking, or chasing her next race about ten months of the year. The other two? She’s indoors with a good book and a solid Allegra regimen, waiting on pollen season to end. She’s also a serial side-project enthusiast — whether that’s a Facebook Marketplace flip, a cheap flight somewhere new, or a freshly planted herb garden.
Emily keeps ShareYourStory showing up — consistently, creatively, and on cue. As Social Media Coordinator, she manages the content calendar, writes client Feature Stories, coordinates assets across the marketing team, and makes sure we are alive and active on socials!
A University of Missouri-Columbia grad with a degree in Journalism and an emphasis in Strategic Communication, Emily has a reporter’s instinct for what makes a story worth telling — and a social media brain for how to make it land. She came back to her hometown of Harrisonville, Missouri, after college and brought both of those things with her.
Outside of work, you’ll find her doing diamond art while listening to CreepCast or Morbid, deep in a psychological thriller or romance novel, or writing just for fun. She takes her Chai Latte with cinnamon cold foam when she’s feeling fancy.

I'm so glad I chose to partner with Streamline Books. As a first-time author, I worked for years on the research and first draft of my book. But what made it a real, professional and well received book was the partnership with Streamline. They guided me through each step of the process from copyediting through design, and ultimately publishing. The number one comment I receive from people when they get a copy is something to the effect of "wow, this is a great book." And that is in no small part to how professionally the book turned out, thanks to Streamline.Posted on Google louis trinca-pasatTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Streamline is awesome. I have never written a book and they guided me through the whole process. Will and Alex are present and alert to listen to your needs for writing a book and matching you up with their best resources to put it all together. They communicated thoroughly every step of the process from the very beginning and continued to be helpful even after I finished my book. They set expectations, timelines, and clearly prepared me for every step of putting a book together. The editors were great. The cover designers were great. They helped me pick out a person from their team to help me write my book and use my voice. They were flexible with payment options. They also love Jesus and are a great publishing company to work with! Honest, present, helpful, humble and trustworthy. The leadership and writers at Streamline helped our family capture the story of our daughter, Lizzy and our journey through pediatric cancer. It was very important to us that this book helped us to spread awareness about pediatric cancer, share how we help families going through pediatric cancer and what we are doing to fund research and find a cure for Osteosarcoma. Streamline's team was empathetic, understanding and laser focused on the goal before them. It was important that our voices needed to be heard in order to share Lizzy's legacy in full. Thank YOU Streamline for your hard work and support!
